About Us

The Fix-It-Shop, since 1926.
The Fix-It Shop was established with the primary goal of serving our community to help people by providing sales and service of major appliances. As more modern conveniences came into the market, we grew with the times, and expanded into smaller appliances and televisions.
With the ever changing times, we changed. One major change was when we had to relocate the business due to the growth and expansion of the City of Toledo and the I-475 highway. In May of 1964, we moved from Upton and Bigelow to our present location at 1801 Sylvania Avenue. While continuing to adjust to the rapidly changing economy, in the late 1980’s, we turned our focus to the sales and service of promoting a clean and healthy lifestyle. Today, we specialize in vacuum cleaners and cleaning materials needed in our modern homes.
In May 2014, the Fix-It Shop proudly celebrated 88 years helping Toledo! As we continue to grow and evolve serving the needs of Northwest Ohio and its surrounding areas, the integrity and business practices of its past leaders still remain.
